A new female voice choir for people in the Bridlington -Hornsea and surrounding area, singing music in 3 and 4 part Harmony in a variety of music styles.

WHO WE ARE
We are a women’s performing choir, based in East Yorkshire. We sing mostly 3 and 4 part harmony.

WHAT WE DO
We celebrate our individual voices as we aim to sing with one voice, to foster sisterhood within the choir and in the broader community through the power of music and singing together, to strive for excellence in all that we do.
To accomplish this, we commit to:
  • Attending rehearsal weekly from 7:00-9:00pm (Tuesdays@Bridlington), 7:30-9:30pm (Mondays@Hornsea)
  • Informing our MD (in advance) if unable to attend.
  • Giving our MD our full attention during rehearsal.
  • Learning the music and practising in our own time between rehearsals.
  • Being flexible to attend extra rehearsals at sister choir venues when deemed necessary (working towards a performance)
  • Public performances

MISSION:
We work hard to produce a cohesive, harmonious sound. We believe that every member should have the knowledge and the skill to understand and care for their voice. We learn together and support each other in our journey to excellence as women and as a choir. We develop, share and strive to become even better by reflecting, listening and learning from others. We want to spread the joy of singing harmony as far and wide as we can.

VISION:
We aspire to develop and promote a sisterhood through choral music, driving excellence, community & audience engagement, and personal fulfilment through singing.

VALUES:
Strength - supporting each other to fulfil potential within a musical sisterhood.
Diversity - welcoming, accepting and celebrating diversity.
Commitment - choosing to participate fully and enthusiastically all the time.
Trust learning to trust ourselves and each other to facilitate a deeper intention and an emotional connection with the music.
